Ilim Timber, an international company based in Switzerland, is one of the leading producers of high-quality softwood lumber. The company has four locations worldwide, including two locations in Germany (Ilim Timber Germany), Ilim Nordic Timber GmbH & Co. KG in Wismar and Ilim Timber Bavaria GmbH in Landsberg am Lech, with a total of more than 950 employees. 

Ilim Timber Germany produces high-quality timber construction products by processing softwood (pine and spruce) from sustainable forest management, primarily for the regional (KVH, glued laminated timber, cross-laminated timber, roof battens, floorboards) as well as for the global market.
This means that over 2.300.000 tons of CO2 can be stored sustainably every year at the two Ilim Timber locations in Wismar and Landsberg am Lech. With this sustainable use of wood, Ilim Timber Germany, together with its partners, forest owners and customers, is making a significant contribution to climate protection using a renewable raw material.
